Thursday Apr 16, 2020
Sports STILL aren't being played, but that's not stopping Jack and Jordan Morandini from previewing the NL East! The East was one of the most competitive divisions in baseball last year, with four teams winning at least 81 games (the only division to do so in 2019). How far are the Marlins from competing? (7:05 - 12:45). The Mets accidentally found themselves in the middle of a postseason controversy, when newly hired manager Carlos Beltran was directly linked to the Astros' sign-stealing saga. After losing Zack Wheeler, what direction are the Mets moving in in 2020? (12:45 - 26:25). The Phillies added a few more big names this offseason, most notably manager Joe Girardi. Will they finally turn the corner this season, or are they headed towards another disappointment? (26:25 - 44:25). The Nationals shocked the world in 2019, winning the World Series. Will they avoid a championship hangover? (44:25 - 1:01:25). The Braves have been underestimated each of the last two years, winning the division in each year. After getting bounced from the playoffs in Division Series in back-to-back years, what will it take for them to take the next step? (1:01:25 - 1:22:10). Who wins the NL East? Episode complete with win projections and divisional picks.

With the United States living in a temporary period of social distancing, it's a very fitting time for Jack to check in with Survivor S38 contestant Reem Daly to discuss the subject of living in isolation. Reem was the first person voted of Survivor: Edge of Extinction (which aired in spring 2019). In a shocking twist, castaways voted out had an opportunity to win their way back into the game, but first, they had to live on a desolated island known as "the Edge of Extinction." Reem spent a total of 32 days on the Edge, making her a certified Survivor legend. Reem reflects on her Survivor experience, discusses life after Survivor, Winners at War, social distancing, creating Cameos for fans, and LOTS more!
